Middle Caicos, the largest island in the Turks
and Caicos, is 48 square miles and is one of the least populated
with 250 residents. It is very lush, suitable for agriculture
and has a limestone ridge running to about 125 feet above sea
level and the natural beauty includes extensive cave systems.
Conch Bar, Lorimers and Bambarra are the three small towns in
Middle Caicos. Blue Horizon Resort overlooking Mudjin Harbor
has one of the most dramatic views in all of the Islands. Good
opportunities exist here for investing either in beachfront lots
or buildable pieces of land. A causeway linking the two
islands--Middle and North Caicos was completed in 2008. This
is a very environmentally friendly island with nature trails
and lots of history.
